Floods. Fires. Last year alone, extreme weather cost Canadians two billion in insured losses. And insurance payouts from extreme weather have doubled every five years since 1980. Soon, one in ten Canadian properties may be deemed too “high risk” to insure. The cost of climate change will only get worse. So let’s act.
