Canadians are suffering from unprecedented floods. Ottawa just went through two one-in-100-year floods in only three years. And one-in-100-year floods in Toronto and Montreal are expected to become one-in-15-year events by the end of this century because of climate change.

As Toronto Island resident Tony Fairbrother says, “This is not a Lake Ontario problem or an Ottawa River problem. We need to look at a much bigger picture.”
